Shivata Love Foundation has recently donated rations to Pabitra Samaj Sewa Nepal. Ragini Upadhayaya, Chairperson of the foundation and former Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, visited the organization located at Budanikantha and made the donation on Tuesday.

SLFN, is a non-profit organisation working in Belgium and Nepal founded by former chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts and eminent artist Ragini Upadhayay. It organises an exhibition every year to raise funds for this cause, commemorating the life and death of Upadhayay’s daughter, Shivata Upadhayay Grela.

According to a press statement released by Shivata Love Foundation, the event aimed at showcasing inner talent through the art workshop and promoting Awadhi art, which still needs awareness and promotion in comparison to Mithila art. Talking at the event, Ragini shared, "We established the foundation to give life to my daughter, Shivata's dream, who taught us love and left us at early age of 20. And the foundation has been helping girls to gain education through various scholarships provided by the foundation."

Marking the 8th anniversary of the Shivata Love Foundation, the art exhibition titled ‘Shivata 30’ officially opened on Tuesday at the Nepal Art Council, Babermahal.
